Just returned from Taiwan's Heartland tour, this is my 3rd tour with Supera, & they have done an amazing job as always. The itinerary was perfect, we got to see & experience a lot without feeling overwhelmed. Even a friend of mine who has traveled a lot was impressed with some of our experiences as some of our activities were not the usual that is associated with Taiwan. The group size was also just right with 20 of us in this tour.
Our guides Tom & Eva went above and beyond to ensure we all had a good time. Everything was well organized, & there was not anytime that we felt rushed at all. Last but not least, the food was amazing! I'm sorry that I don't have a bigger stomach!
Supera Tours is trully Superb!!! This is our third tour with them and our current Taiwan tour of east and west coasts has been filled with excellent sight seeing, meals and hospitality. Accommodations are top tier ie Okura Prestige, Evergreen Hotel, Silk's Palace, Fleur de Chine. The food is five star with lots of local food... very much a food tour also. Our guides Tom and Anita are very knowledgeable and accommodating to our tours individual needs. Kudos to them for sharing their homeland with us. They have treated us like family throughout the tour. Our driver is the best driver both in city traffic and also the mountainous roads on the east coast, most particularly Taroko National Park with its one lane mountainous roads. Our driver privately told me that he thinks of the tour as his family members and so he drives very slow to keep us safe as he points upwards... where we sit on the bus. Also with his own money, our driver bought us local treats ie. Custard Apples which no one in our group had ever tasted before, buns from local place that's used to announce weddings, and today bought persimmons from a local farm in the highlands of Taichung. Besides his excellent driving skills our driver is such the gentleman. Thanks Supera Tours for providing a fun, knowledgeable and inclusive tour with the best lodging and meals along with safety all along the way. Seriously felt like family once we arrived in Taiwan with Anita at the international gate pickup. Tom and Anita, my mom and I want to thank you for showing us what great fun Taiwan is. We hope to have you as our guides again real soon!!!! Kuddos to Tom, Anita and driver!!! Hip hip hooray!!! They even bought a cake to help me celebrate my birthday.
Our tour guide, Sam is the best, knowledgeable, friendly, funny. He is a very good asset to your tour company. He goes (out of) his way to buy us fruits, treats, shaved ice and anything that we want to try in Taiwan. He cared for us like we were his own personal friends.
This tour should be renamed The Gourmet Tour of Taiwan Island. All of our meals were outstanding in quality, taste, and presentation. Most of the meals served represented the local areas we were visiting. The amounts were always so plentiful and offered in a wide variety to satisfy everyone's tastes. Such an amazing and enjoyable culinary experience!
Take the 10 Days of Taiwan tour for an amazing and enjoyable experience of Taiwan! If you are lucky enough - you will get Tom Hu as your tour guide! Happy Travels!
My Husband Franklin and I had the pleasure of having Salome as our tour guide for the around Taiwan Island tour back in August. I just want to compliment you on the well planned tour and the good fortune of having Salome as our guide. She is an exceptional young lady in terms of knowledge, compassion and responsibility. She even bought snacks to hand out at the right time. She is by far the best guide we have had in our travels. I am sure we will be taking more Supera tours in the future because of this.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
