Cruise the Beagle Channel, where we'll be on the lookout for huge South American sea lions and birds such as imperial cormorants
The 500-mile sea passage between Cape Horn, Chile, and the South Shetland Islands is one of the world’s most renowned straits, famous for its extremely harsh sea conditions.
Sail through the Drake Passage en route to Antarctica's Antarctic Peninsula.
Enter a time zone of nearly 24 hours of daylight, Days 6 to 10 will focus on exploring the Antarctic Peninsula and the surrounding icy seas. The exact landing sites will be determined based on sea and weather conditions at the time.
Days 10–11: Sail between the South Shetland Islands and South Georgia Whale Watching: This stretch of ocean is home to large whales, offering a great chance to spot fin whales, southern right whales, and even the largest animal on Earth - the blue whale! Albatrosses and petrels glide past the ship, presenting another exciting challenge for photographers. Presentations from expedition experts will help us prepare for the incredible wildlife encounters awaiting us on South Georgia.
Stretching over 90 miles and dominated by rugged peaks, South Georgia is home to incredible wildlife spectacles, making it one of the wildest and most breathtaking places on Earth. The days spent here will give us ample time to explore this unique sub-Antarctic island, including its rich history, ecology, and the stunning landscapes that surround us at every landing.
Days 12–15 will be primarily spent exploring South Georgia Island, with specific landing sites determined by sea and weather conditions at the time.
Full day at sea: Onboard, expert-led lectures will be scheduled based on the current sailing conditions, covering topics such as wildlife, geography, and the environment.
Days 18–20 will be spent exploring the Falkland Islands, with specific activities and itineraries determined by sea and weather conditions at the time.
The western part of the islands is home to black-browed albatrosses, so close that you can hear the sound of their wings flapping as they fly past. Rockhopper penguins, small in size but with a fierce look in their eyes, will show you how they leap from one rock to another.
Sailing through the shallows of the Falkland Islands, we will head back to Ushuaia. During our voyage, you can attend lectures from the expedition team, summarizing the wonderful experiences of the Southern Polar regions. On deck, you can enjoy the seabirds and resident dolphins that frequent these waters.
Situated in Buenos Aires' most cosmopolitan neighborhood, Puerto Madero, the hotel is set beside the River Plate and just a short walk from a variety of nearby restaurants—an ideal setting to immerse yourself in the city's contemporary energy and dynamic atmosphere.
